After procurement and installation we offer a range of different maintenance options. You choose which option is most appropriate to your needs, then we’ll work with you to further tailor that option to your unique requirements. It will include a programme of pre-arranged maintenance visits. Iit’s a customised plan that complements your own in-house resources and provides cover for busy periods, plant shutdowns, cover during staff holidays, site projects and so on.
Poor installation of instrumentation results in inaccurate and misleading readings which can effect processes and the quality of their outputs - no amount of maintenance can resolve such problems or inefficiencies.
Our instrument engineers can attend your site to offer advice and install all ranges of instrumentation products. Our experience and application knowledge ensure that the installation gets the best performance from the instrument given any application restrictions.
We check the installation and assess the application to confirm that the optimum location has been selected and the correct instrument has been chosen for the application.
Our commissioning engineers check that the settings for the instrument are set up to achieve optimum performance. Electrical checks are also carried out, including loop checks and connection checks to verify the installation, avoid failure and ensure operational safety.
Our fully qualified and experienced design engineers are able to produce instrumentation and control system designs from your specification. Or, if required, we’ll supply a specification based on your application, and design from that depending on the critical nature of the application and the budget available.
We’ll provide you with, and manage, all the necessary C&I documentation, including:
We’ll help you identify any shortfalls in your current skills base and keep your staff fully up to date with developments in technology. We’ve developed a series of instrumentation training packages for our own staff but we’re now able to share these with our customers. These packages are delivered by fully qualified industry professionals with many years experience.
Programmes can be delivered at your premises, in our own training suite or at an instrument manufacturer’s plant.
