AMS Move to New Premises

In October 2008, AM Sensors Ltd moved to new purpose built premises on the outskirts of Bridgwater.

Previously situated on two sites in Highbridge, we have moved to one purpose built site with the panel manufacture and engineering workshops now being located with the engineering department and sales.

Managing Director Wes Harford said:
“The amalgamation of the two sites into one and having the engineering services department situated with the sales team allows us to work more efficiently and enable us to provide an even quicker response to our customer’s requests”

“Also the addition of another and larger meeting room allows us to offer our customers offsite training in a professional environment for all their Control and Instrumentation requirements”

Power Station Site Service Contract Extension

AMS have recently beaten off challenges from several large contracting firms to retain the C&I site service contract at a UK based nuclear power station. The contract involves AMS providing suitably qualified and experienced site based personnel to complete control and instrumentation maintenance tasks working with the sites own personnel and to the sites rigid standards.

To win the contract AMS had to meet and exceed strict requirements for quality control, health and safety and not least personnel qualifications and experience.
